RIXFM i Fjällen (SE) Febr 10-13 – among the artists: Milow

YAY! This is super!!

The Swedish Radio Station  RIXFM will have an artist weekend “RIXFM i Fjällen” up in the north of Sweden in a town called Åre (Östersund)

Between Milow’s concert in Stuttgart on Febr 11 and the concert in Munich Febr 13 he will make a stop in Sweden on Febr 12 to be a part of this! THIS IS SO GREAT!

Except for a minor (for me huge) minus, I can’t be there to see him play :(

That would have been so good!

There is a contest of course were you can win a weekend in Åre and VIP to the club nights but I don’t ski ;) All I want and need is to have the transfer (travel) w hotel one night and VIP to the Friday club night ;)

Groningen, 14 January 2010 European Border Breaker Awards honour European debut artists in TV show at EuroSonic Noorderslag Festival, Groningen (NL). Milow (Belgium) wins the first Public Choice EBBA. The 2010 European Border Breaker Awards (EBBA’s) were presented by the European Commission in a TV show spectacle on the opening night of the EuroSonic Noorderslag Festival in Groningen (the Netherlands), in the presence of H.R.H. Princess Máxima of the Netherlands, numerous VIP’s and 1200 visitors. The awards’ show, which featured live performances by eight of the ten award-winning acts, will be broadcast throughout Europe in the coming days and weeks. After an online vote, the Belgian winner Milow was awarded the first ever Public Choice EBBA. By granting these awards, the European Commission, in cooperation with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), rewards debut artists and groups who have successfully crossed national borders and reached audiences outside their home country. At the same time the prizes highlight and promote the richness and diversity of European music, its creativity, and its role in bringing people together and forging mutual understanding. The show was presented by BBC-TV personality Jools Holland and former EBBA winner Ida Corr and included live performances of Milow, Esmee Denters, Kerli, Sliimy, Jenny Wilson, Giusy Ferreri, Charlie Winston and Soap&Skin. Peter Fox and Buraka Som Sistema were unable to attend but sent a video message. The show received European coverage through the EBU broadcasting network of European television and radio stations in the following territories: The Netherlands, Bulgary, Estonia, Luxemburg, Portugal, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Finland and Slovakia. A More Familiar Touch

MilowOfficial will soon reach 50,000 fans! Y A Y!

Now let’s see how many of all these fans would be interested and keeping the dialog fans to fans on a MilowFans page.

I am not suggesting any changes to MilowOfficial, I want to stress that, this is more of an addition to that one. Even if it is not an official one.

On MilowOfficial we have Milow Wall and Just Fans Wall. Milow Wall with updates from the artist himself. Fans Wall with mess to the artist and also a lot of  dialogs between fans. Now this is super! But what if we would have MilowFans page, on facebook, just for fans to post & discuss about everything and nothing and keep the MilowOfficial more or less just for the interaction of Milow-Fans and Fans-Milow. How many of the almost 50,000 at MilowOfficial fans would really be interested in such?

Or maybe you feel it’s better to have the dialog fans-fans on the MilowOfficial because he (JV) keep updates on a regular basis and what you write in the Just Fans Wall gets JV attention as well?

I am not talking about the messages/updates the fans post to JV but the more prolonged ones between fans.

No doubt you reach out to more fans writing on the MilowOfficial Wall and to the artist himself but I was thinking of creating a more familiar touch between fans.  “One can have both  :D”

Once again nothing to interfer with the MilowOfficial page just to extend the fans-fans connection because I believe that is a very important part as well. Again my opinion folks! Now let’s hear yours!
